Badr has over 15 years in multiple sectors including government, banking, academia. In a career spanning over a decade in public policy, he advised various government entities including the Minister of Economy and Planning, The Royal Commission of Riyadh City, The Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
Badr worked with the ministry of Human Resources and Social Development where he later became the Director of Labor Market Policy. During his time at the ministry, he also led the policy development and coordination for the G20’s employment track and represented Saudi Arabia at the employment working group meetings from 2019-2021.
Badr has also worked as a research manager for Harvard’s Center for International Development, where he managed a research portfolio of over 20 projects with the Saudi government addressing policy issues in areas of labor market, education and human capital development.
